This year there will sadly be no physical Focus in London, however the team behind the event have moved it online, creating 3 days of engaging content and networking, and presenting their Makers and Shakers awards. As part of this year's event, Jo will join a panel discussing how to reconcile on set safety in the age of coronavirus with sustainability. If you'd like to attend the session, which is taking place at 1pm on Thursday 17th December, simply visit the site and register for free.

To return to work safely, the industry has spent months grappling with complex Covid-19 guidelines. So, with all these new changes and processes, how are production teams managing to keep sustainability at the forefront of decision-making? Is it even possible?

From a lack of public transport to a wealth of PPE, our speakers will discuss what the challenges are to maintaining sustainable productions, and by evaluating case studies, will also consider if there are opportunities for working practices that will live beyond the pandemic and support a net-zero industry. As the industry closes the chapter on an extraordinary 2020, we ask: can we be ‘Green’ and still stay safe?
